1) Emulation is always a compromise.

2) The quality of a recording is governed by the performance.

3) The abstenction of studio effects is an effect.

4) Great records are made by great people not great studios.

5) If you don't have the answer the music probably does.

6) If the music does not have the answer it is probably not music.

7) There is always a producer(s) on a record.

8) You are making the soundtrack of someone else's life.

9) Production does not mean adding affects.

10) Appropriate production is bringing to the project what it needs, clearing away what it doesn't and not touching the rest.
